Automation Project Scheduler / Project Controls Specialist

📍 Hybrid Role - Occasional Travel Required- 1 week out of the month

We're partnering with a leading pharmaceutical organization seeking an experienced Automation Project Scheduler to support a large-scale automation program. This role will focus on developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules while collaborating closely with project managers, engineering teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure successful project execution.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automation project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Integrate vendor and system integrator schedules into the master schedule
• Monitor critical paths, milestones, schedule risks, and overall project progress
• Create dashboards, reports, and schedule KPI metrics
• Support project teams with schedule updates and reporting
• Identify schedule delays and work with stakeholders to develop corrective actions
• Contribute to monthly project reporting and stakeholder communications
• Partner with automation project managers and stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy and alignment

What We're Looking For

✅ 5+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience in the pharmaceutical industry

✅ Experience supporting automation projects in a GMP-regulated environment

✅ Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

✅ Strong understanding of critical path methodology and logic-driven scheduling

✅ Advanced Excel skills for reporting, analysis, and KPI tracking

✅ Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

✅ Experience supporting capital projects within pharmaceutical or biotech environments
