Our client is looking for a Senior Technology Support Technician to participate in the inspection, set-up, installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis, and repair of personal computer hardware, and related peripherals, including software installation.

Acts as the project lead for PC software and hardware projects with emphasis in computer problem solving and coordination with Technology Technicians.

Lead PC projects, including, but not limited to, large scale software/hardware upgrades/migrations.

Assist Technology Technicians with user calls as needed.

Provide second-line support in the event of PC software/hardware problems. Assist and guide personal computer users in defining hardware and software requirements.

Provide consultation and training as needed in the areas of personal computer based programming languages, operating systems, software packages and equipment selection and installation.

Provide formal installation instructions in software applications including Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and other applications as required .

Skills: Three to five years experience in PC hardware/software support/deployment including peripherals in a high volume setting. Project management skills for deployments. General troubleshooting and experience with Local Area Networks required. A+ Certification, or equivalent certification relevant to PC support, with one year minimum experience.
