Entry-Level Analytical Chemist

💲 Pay Rate: $28/hr -$34/hr

🕒 Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Are you an early-career chemist looking to apply your analytical skills in a highly regulated manufacturing environment? We are seeking an Entry-Level Analytical Chemist to support quality, product chemistry, and supply chain initiatives for consumer health products.

What You'll Do

As a member of the Product Chemistry team, you will provide analytical and laboratory support to ensure the quality, safety, and performance of products while assisting with chemistry-related investigations and problem-solving activities.

Key Responsibilities

Analytical & Technical Support

  • Conduct laboratory experiments under the guidance of senior scientists and supervisors.
  • Perform analytical testing and trace impurity analysis using:
    • U/HPLC-MS/PDA/FLR
    • GC-MS/FID
  • Support investigations related to drug degradation and impurity formation.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to solve chemistry-related challenges.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of laboratory procedures and documentation.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate project status, results, and findings to the Product Chemistry team and stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional problem-solving initiatives and technical discussions.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality, Supply Chain, and Analytical Science teams.

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow applicable GxP processes, data integrity requirements, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Maintain training requirements for assigned activities.
  • Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards and laboratory safety procedures.

Laboratory Support

  • Assist with validation, qualification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Support routine laboratory operations and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Academic or professional experience with HPLC and/or Gas Chromatography (GC).
  • Strong laboratory skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work onsite in Lincoln, NE.

Preferred

  • Exposure to regulated laboratory environments (GxP, GMP, GLP, etc.).
  • Experience with mass spectrometry-based analytical techniques.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
