IT Delivery Leader - Salesforce (SGPO)

Location: Remote

Pay: 85/hr-110/hr

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Overview

The IT Delivery Leader will design and advocate for customer relationship management software, SalesForce, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology trends. This leader will collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions, while managing a complex, multi-platform architecture. The role requires a strategic thinker with technical breadth, leadership skills, and the ability to influence without authority.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

SalesForce Expertise

  • Previous hands-on experience in SalesForce workflows, SalesForce Experience Cloud and other SalesForce products and technologies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and lead discussions on future SalesForce roadmap direction and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize customer on-boarding data flows for analytics, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Technology Development and Service Oversight

  • Oversee the technical delivery of IT services, ensuring they meet quality, scope, and service level requirements.
  • Manage, mentor and upskill a team of business analysts, developers and quality assurance tams in tandem with third party consultants that augment delivery.
  • Collaborate with the scrum master on project plans, timelines, and budgets, delegating tasks to team members and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to specifications.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between IT and business units, coordinating with clients, developers, and other stakeholders to define scope, manage expectations, and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Product Management, and Business Analytics teams to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Lead the development of tools to empower sales teams, automate processes, and improve operational efficiencies.

Governance & Oversight

  • Translate product vision into actual work writing user stories, defining requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide strategic consultation to stakeholders, advising on risks, trade-offs, and technology priorities.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, PI Planning etc.
  • Prioritize and refine the Agile team backlog including grooming and prioritizing stories for the current sprint and program increment.
  • Drive continuous feedback use feedback to refine the backlog and iteratively improve the product.

Experience and Educational Requirements

Experience

  • 10+ years in IT Delivery Leadership with expertise in multi-platform environments.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing cross-platform solutions.

Technical Expertise

  • Previous hands-on SalesForce development experience.
  • Experience with software development, Agile methodology, and working in a matrixed environment - knowing when to leverage enterprise resources and build vs. buy.

Leadership & Communication

  • Strong ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience in healthcare administration, GPO, or pharmacy is highly desirable.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements

  • Proficient communication skills and experience in people management and development.
  • Ability to translate complicated business requirements into multiple solution options and explain the pros/cons of various approaches.
