SRG is looking for a Hygienic Piping Specialist to join our client's team executing complex process and mechanical projects in highly regulated industrial environments. This is a long term contract position located onsite in Lebanon, IN with a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company expanding their site. (Pharmaceutical experience preferred but not required.)

The right candidate will have:

  • 7+ years of relevant field construction experience - HVAC and hygienic piping experience, focus on the mechanical and plumbing/piping components of MEP
  • Strong hands‑on experience with:
    • HVAC systems
    • Piping and process utilities (carbon steel)
  • Mechanical completion experience is required.
  • Commissioning experience for HVAC and piping systems
  • Proven ability to interpret:
    • Construction drawings
    • Specifications
    • P&IDs
  • Going into the field reviewing EPCM firm work
  • Change order validation, mechanical completion, commissioning and qualification experience
  • $50M+ package

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily field oversight of MEP installations, with a primary focus on HVAC, piping, and process utilities (carbon steel systems).
  • Perform daily field walkdowns to verify installation quality, constructability, safety compliance, and readiness for mechanical completion.
  • Verify installations align with design drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and owner standards.
  • Act as Owner's Representative on site, ensuring contractor accountability and driving issue resolution rather than merely reporting deficiencies.
  • Track daily progress, monitor productivity, and proactively escalate schedule or interface risks to the Construction Manager.
  • Support RFI review and resolution, field coordination efforts, and interference management with CSA and Process Piping disciplines.
  • Participate in punch walks, deficiency resolution, and system turnover planning.
  • Ensure QA/QC documentation, test packs, and completion records are accurate, complete, and properly filed.
  • Support mechanical completion (MC), system handover, and commissioning readiness for HVAC and piping systems.
