Location: Remote (EST Hours)
Shifts needed:
- 3 Monday-Friday 8:00a - 5:00p EST
- 3 Monday-Friday 3:00p - 12:00p EST
- 3 Wednesday-Sunday 8:00a - 5:00p EST
Starting Pay: $70K Annually; W2 contract employee

Background:
The organization is executing a large-scale network modernization initiative supporting ~30,000+ devices. Objective: Provide 8-10 contract resources to support network device upgrades and lifecycle execution.
Duties:
- Execute network device patching and upgrades
- Perform pre/post validation
- -Support change execution and documentation
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams
- Execute and support formal change control processes, including preparation, scheduling, approval coordination, and documentation of all network upgrade activities
- Develop and deliver proactive business partner communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed of planned work, impacts, risks, and status updates throughout execution
Skill Set:
- Entry-level networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, switching)
- Familiarity with CLI access (SSH)
Preferred:
- Bachelors Degree in a Relevant Field - Comp Science with Networking Classes, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, etc
- Cisco exposure (Cisco IOS-XE, Cisco IOS-XR, Cisco Nexus, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco ASA)
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technical environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain NERC Compliance (or equivalent regulatory certification) as required
- Networking Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCENT, CCNA
