Quantity Surveyor - Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
- Measure and track installed quantities across project scopes, including:
- Square footage of drywall
- Linear footage of piping
- Cable and electrical installations
- Other building and infrastructure components
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs based on real-time field progress
- Monitor and report construction progress against project plans
- Collaborate closely with construction and project controls teams to validate installed work
- Maintain clear, organized documentation of quantities and progress metrics
- Ensure alignment between field measurements and reporting requirements
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Measurer, or similar role
- Strong expertise in field-based measurement of installed construction work
- Experience supporting large-scale capital projects ($200M+)
- Ability to quantify multiple trades (mechanical, electrical, architectural)
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting capabilities
Preferred Experience
- Background in pharma, oil & gas or other large industrial construction projects
- Hands-on field experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
