🚀 HIRING: Design Verification Lead (Onsite | Houston, TX)
💼 18‑Month Contract | $140-155/hr | Pharma New Site Build
We're supporting a major pharmaceutical site expansion and are seeking an experienced Design Verification Lead to play a critical role in the early design and execution of a new drug substance manufacturing facility.
This is a hands‑on, technical leadership role for someone who thrives in early design, detailed design, and verification execution within GMP manufacturing environments.
🔧 What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Design Verification (DV) activities across facilities, equipment, utilities, and processes
- Own P&ID design reviews - line‑by‑line, detailed technical walkthroughs
- Drive design verification from pre‑conceptual design through detailed design and execution
- Author and review DV plans, protocols, reports, RTMs, and risk assessments
- Partner cross‑functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation, and Quality teams
- Review and challenge vendor FDS/DDS, manage scope and quality expectations
- Support change control strategies during new site build‑out phases
- Align schedules with FAT and SAT testing to ensure technical and operational readiness
- Contribute to material flow, personnel flow, and warehouse layout design
✅ What We're Looking For
- Strong GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing background
- Deep P&ID experience with demonstrated design review leadership
- Proven design verification expertise from start to finish
- Experience with early design, pre‑conceptual, and detailed design phases
- Vendor management experience in large‑scale capital projects
- New facility build or site expansion experience strongly preferred
📍 Role Details
- Location: Onsite - Houston, TX
- Duration: 18 months
- Start: Immediate / Early May
- Contract Types: W2, 1099, or C2C
- Rate: $140-155/hour
