Location: On‑site (Lebanon, IN)
Engagement: Contract (12 months; potential extension up to 3 years)
Start Date: ASAP
Work Schedule: On‑site, 5 days/week
Estimated Hours: ~55 hours/week
Pay Rate: $125-$145/hour (C2C)
Role Overview
The Construction Lead - Equipment will oversee the execution, coordination, and turnover of large‑scale pharmaceutical process and clean utility equipment on a major capital project. This is a senior‑level construction leadership role serving as a critical interface between field execution teams, contractors, vendors, and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead owner's‑representative construction oversight for complex pharmaceutical process and clean utility equipment on a large capital project
- Own equipment execution from installation through mechanical completion and turnover to commissioning
- Maintain detailed understanding of project schedules, sequencing, and equipment readiness
- Support and coordinate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), including potential travel to vendor sites
- Conduct daily on‑site field walkdowns to assess progress, resolve issues, and validate readiness
- Integrate contractor and vendor updates into overall execution plans and reporting
- Provide accurate forecasting, risk identification, and proactive status reporting to senior leadership
- Ensure all equipment installations meet GMP, safety, and project requirements
Equipment & Systems Experience (Highly Desired)
- Glass‑lined reactors
- Condensers
- Dryers
- Clean utility generation systems
- Filtration systems and related process equipment
Qualifications
- 20+ years supporting pharmaceutical or life sciences capital projects
- Strong preference for experience on large or "mega‑project" environments
- Background at the Construction Manager or Senior Construction Supervisor level
- Deep knowledge of equipment installation, construction sequencing, and turnover processes
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with executive leadership and senior stakeholders
- Experience transitioning equipment from commissioning through operational handover
