Overview
The Construction Quality Supervisor - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) will serve as the Owner's Representative overseeing electrical and instrumentation quality execution on an active manufacturing project. This role is centered on field observation, quality oversight, and advisory support to the EPC and construction teams, with responsibility for escalating issues when needed and supporting system handover through turnover.
This is a non‑hiring supervisory role requiring strong field presence, hands‑on walkdowns, and direct engagement with construction and quality stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Owner's Representative for electrical and instrumentation construction quality
- Observe and advise EPC and trade partners on installation quality, GMP compliance, and system readiness
- Perform daily site walkdowns and interface closely with field supervision and site teams
- Provide quality oversight and support E&I system readiness through construction completion and turnover
- Support QA processes for electrical and instrumentation systems, including inspection and sign‑off activities
- Track and report progress, field observations, quality issues, and overall status to project leadership
- Support handover from construction to turnover and commissioning teams
- Escalate quality, execution, or compliance concerns as required
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 15-20+ years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation construction within regulated environments
- Proven experience bringing E&I systems through construction completion and formal turnover
- Strong background supporting QA and quality sign‑off for electrical and instrumentation systems
- Prior experience operating in an Owner's Rep capacity, working alongside EPC firms
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred; medical device, food & beverage, or similarly regulated industries acceptable
- Strong field presence with a hands‑on, observational leadership style
- Ability to work extended hours and maintain consistent onsite coverage

- Projects requiring close coordination between construction, quality, turnover, and commissioning teams
