QC Documentation Release Specialist - 2nd shift
Our client is an evolving manufacturing company seeking a skilled Quality Control Release Documentation Inspector to support product release and traceability processes within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring all required quality documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant prior to product shipment. The position plays a key role in the final inspection and release of aerospace components and in maintaining proper documentation records in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements.

Location: Newburyport, 2nd shift 3p-11pm

Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of documentation control, traceability, and inspection processes
- Documentation Quality Control experience in a regulated industry (Aerospace preferred)
- AS9100, FAA, EASA, and customer‑specific requirements
- Experience with GD&T and CMM mechanical inspection (Preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
- Compile, organize, and review quality control documentation packages for outgoing products, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal and external standards
- Perform final inspection and release of aerospace components, verifying that all required documentation is accurate and properly archived
- Review and verify certifications required for traceability, including material certifications, inspection reports, and related records
- Conduct GD&T mechanical inspections as required
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Manufacturing teams to obtain required documentation and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized product release records in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Ensure timely documentation flow to support on‑schedule product shipments
- Identify and report non‑conformances and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control and documentation processes
- Ensure all documentation complies with aerospace industry regulations and standards
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering or Manufacturing) preferred
