Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager - Electrical Power Distribution

💰 $100-$110/hr | W2 w/ Per Diem or C2C options available

We're seeking a senior‑level Project Engineer / Project Manager with deep expertise in Electrical Power Distribution to support a large, high‑visibility capital project. This is an onsite role ideal for someone who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and has experience leading electrical scopes on major construction or infrastructure projects.

This position offers strong exposure to a mega‑project environment, working closely with engineering, construction, and trade teams on mission‑critical electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project management activities for electrical power distribution scopes
• Manage schedule, budget, scope, risk, and field execution for assigned electrical packages
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, EPCM partners, contractors, inspectors, and construction teams
• Oversee installation and integration of:
  • Power distribution systems
  • Electrical panels and switchgear
  • Outlets, lighting, and related infrastructure
• Manage normal (non‑emergency) power transfer systems
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, electrical principles, and industry standards
• Drive onsite execution, resolve field issues, and maintain clear stakeholder communication
• Provide regular status updates to project leadership

Required Experience & Background

• 10+ years of Project Management experience (senior‑level strongly preferred)
• Strong electrical background withhands‑on understanding of:
  • Electrical power distribution systems
  • Panels, outlets, and lighting systems
  • Voltage systems (120/208V and 277/480V)
• Proven experience supporting large or mega projects ($10M+ electrical scope preferred)
• Experience working with and overseeing EPCM partners
• Strong onsite leadership and field execution capability
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills

Engagement Details

• Pay Rate: $100-$110/hour
• Engagement Options: W2 (with per diem) or C2C
• Location: Fully onsite - Lebanon, IN
• Interview Process: Single video interview
