About the Role
We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to analyze sourcing data, manage supplier relationships, support negotiations, and drive cost‑effective sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands‑on sourcing experience, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sourcing and procurement data to identify trends, cost‑saving opportunities, and supplier performance insights
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, pricing benchmarks, and market trends
- Support supplier selection, performance evaluations, and ongoing relationship management
- Assist in the development and execution of sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Identify and support cost optimization initiatives through negotiations, alternative sourcing options, and process improvements
- Assist with contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and service levels
- Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies and applicable legal regulations
- Prepare reports on supplier performance, market trends, and sourcing activities for leadership
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners including supply chain, finance, operations, and legal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing and/or procurement
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools (Excel, SAP, Power BI, etc.)
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier negotiations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Experience using sourcing tools and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with strategic sourcing or category management
- Knowledge of supply chain sustainability practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Oracle
- Procurement certifications such as CPSM or CIPS
