Senior Project Engineer - Special Systems (Security, Building Management, Fire Alarms)
- Lead all Special Systems scopes as the Owner's technical authority.
- Oversee execution of Security, BMS, and Fire Alarm systems across all project phases.
- Work with construction teams to ensure project scope and timelines are begin met.
Contract: 1-5 years
Location: Lebanon, IN
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Systems Engineering, or similar.
- 10+ years delivering Special Systems on large industrial/pharma projects.
- Experience managing system integrators and vendors in regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of Security Systems, BMS/BAS, and Fire Alarm systems.
- Familiarity with regulated environments and OT cybersecurity.
- Understanding of construction, commissioning, and system turnover processes.
- Risk management approach, work with key stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk
- Project execution, schedule, cost and scope
- PLUS - PMP
Responsibilities:
- Project Management leadership and oversight
- Review and approve system architecture, designs, drawings, and submittals.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, life safety codes, cybersecurity, and AHJ requirements.
- Coordinate system interfaces with Automation, IT/OT, HVAC, electrical, and facility systems.
- Manage EPCM partners, integrators, and vendors to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Track progress and mitigate technical, schedule, and integration risks.
- Oversee vendor activities from design through FAT, installation, SAT, and turnover.
- Maintain a presence on site to support installation and resolve field issues.
- Participate in walkdowns, readiness reviews, and punch list closure.
- Support commissioning and acceptance of Security, BMS, and Fire Alarm systems.
