4 Day‑Shift Roles Available:
- Front: Sunday-Wednesday (Wednesday is the rotating 3‑4‑3 day)
- Back: Wednesday-Saturday (Wednesday is the rotating 3‑4‑3 day)
About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Process Maintenance Mechanic is to ensure equipment availability by performing safe, compliant, and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance.
Maintenance teams support the site 24/7 to handle equipment repairs, discrepancy response, contractor oversight, vendor engagement, project support, and ongoing training. All mechanics are trained to support manufacturing areas, Materials Management, QC Labs, and Utility Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and repetitive maintenance on valves, centrifuges, pumps, autoclaves, washers, tanks, and related piping.
- Follow cGMP, SOPs, and all documentation standards to ensure Right‑First‑Time operations.
- Complete work orders and maintenance tasks with full and accurate documentation.
- Operate tools and shop equipment safely while following all site safety procedures.
- Navigate corporate applications, CMMS, and standard computer programs.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Technology, and other departments.
- Support system start‑ups, validations, and commissioning.
- Collect and organize technical data from OEMs, users, and engineering teams.
- Assist with spare‑parts identification, purchasing, and inventory organization.
- Train other mechanics as needed.
- Read and interpret P&IDs.
- Review, redline, and evaluate SOP content.
- Follow lock‑out/tag‑out procedures, perform confined-space entry, and work at heights.
- Rebuild pumps, valves, bearing assemblies, and mechanical seals.
- Conduct safety inspections of rigging and fall‑protection equipment.
Key Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 5-6 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of industrial process systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with reasonable accommodation)
- Valid driver's license
