SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a Engineering Principal Project Manager consultant to join our client's pharmaceutical development team in Vacaville, Ca.

Onsite: Vacaville, Ca

Contract: 1 year plus extension

*W2 contract employees ONLY

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience required in GMP manufacturing
  • Provide expert project management for site CAPEX projects
  • Lead site tech transfer projects at the Lonza Vacaville site
  • Know the Engineering process and equipment
  • System owner - troubleshoot, work on day-to-day deviations, chromatography skids
  • Analytical maintenance skills
  • Knows biologics processes, unit operations filtrations, investigate equipment failure, technical writing
  • Capability to execute projects greater than $100 million
  • Bachelors Degree required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams in an operational cGMP manufacturing environment
  • Successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of assigned projects, including design, construction, safety, change control and commissioning.
  • Ensure project are delivered on time and within cost target
  • Communication of project status, risks, plans, and cost to management Compliance with governance procedures and processes Qualifications:
  • Expert in managing, organizing, distributing, developing, and implementing project delivery including work break-down structure, estimating, risk analysis, cGMP quality, critical path scheduling and safety
  • Ability to successfully interact with and influence executives and lead multiple complex project teams
  • Extensive theoretical and cross-functional expertise in the context of company objectives to independently address complex problems, determines methods and procedures on new assignments with work performed under limited direction, and establishes own work priorities and timelines
  • Expertise in sourcing and contracting required external service providers including design, construction, equipment and qualification firms.
