Event Producer
Location: Irwindale, California with travel to events
Reports to: Director of Events
Position Summary
We are seeking an Event Producer to plan and execute impactful events and conferences nationwide, ensuring every experience aligns with our mission, vision, values, and culture. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. As Event Producer, you will deliver high-quality, innovative events that support our strategic goals and inspire our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and deliver exceptional event experiences that engage audiences and expand City of Hope's national reach.
- Oversee all phases of event projects: initiation, execution, closure, budgeting, and strategic planning for future initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external organizations, vendors, contractors, venues, and consultants.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define marketing material requirements, execute experiential activations, and ensure brand consistency.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and work seamlessly with managers, directors, and executive leadership.
- Monitor and achieve key performance indicators that align with strategic goals and objectives.
- Resolve challenges, mitigate risks, and execute key initiatives to ensure successful events.
- Prepare briefings to ensure all participants are fully informed and prepared.
- Source and apply technologies to create interactive elements that maximize audience engagement.
- Research and analyze potential events to expand City of Hope's visibility and build relationships with external organizations and institutions.
- Support the Tour division and Marketing & Communications Department as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in event production, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong organizational, budgeting, and strategic planning skills.
- Exceptional communication and client service abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and external partners.
- Willingness to travel frequently to events nationwide.
- Experience in nonprofit, corporate, or public-sector environments is a plus.
