About the Role:
Our client is seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to support laboratory equipment and systems in a dynamic GMP environment. This role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, and onboarding equipment to ensure compliance with strict standards. You'll work closely with process sciences teams transitioning into GMP spaces and play a key role in maintaining data integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system administrative tasks, including commissioning and basic troubleshooting of lab equipment.
- Onboard new equipment to align with client standards and protocols.
- Support multiple buildings daily; gown into controlled areas as required under GMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with process sciences teams to ensure proper equipment control and documentation.
- Execute commissioning for support-impact equipment and manage ECNs across 70+ systems.
- Write SOPs, configuration specifications, and templates for equipment documentation.
- Handle older systems lacking documentation; ensure secure data transfer to designated locations.
- Maintain thorough verification processes during change periods.

SoloVPEs, Nova Flex2s, Kingfisher Apex, LabChips, Wave Rockers, Sartochecks.
Qualifications
- Experience with Biovia U Lab (preferred).
- Strong background in data integrity and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Hands-on experience commissioning equipment and understanding functionality.
- Excellent documentation skills without heavy reliance on SMEs.
- Ability to gown into controlled areas as needed.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
