Overview:
A Medical Device client of ours is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Project Engineer to support the launch and optimization of manufacturing processes at our new Braintree facility. This role blends project management with engineering expertise and is ideal for a senior-level professional with a strong background in validation and manufacturing engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transfer and optimization of existing processes from our Boston facility to the new Braintree site.
  • Develop and document new procedures and work instructions tailored to the Braintree operation.
  • Manage and validate manual washing processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Design and implement material flow and handling systems, including clean/dirty segregation protocols.
  • Establish and document processes for bagging and labeling clean EBM kits and cutting dies.
  • Finalize all procedures and forms through the Agile release process.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Support parts washer operations, including:
    • Creating and updating technical drawings for modifications related to new detergent feed systems.
    • Ensuring equipment readiness and process reliability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or validation engineering role.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects in a regulated environment.
  • Strong technical writing skills for SOPs, work instructions, and validation documentation.
  • Experience with Agile documentation systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with parts washing systems and cleanroom protocols is highly desirable.
