SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a Senior Piping Project Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Lebanon, IN.

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Onsite Hybrid - 3 days per week

Contract: 1 year plus extension

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 15+ years experience in process piping, hygienic piping and design for equipment like boilers coming from pharma
  • Understanding of value management systems, procurement operations
  • Extensive construction quality assurance and quality control
  • Strong construction management experience
  • Ability to manage 1 current employee and hire 1 more

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of process and hygienic piping systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including boilers and other critical utilities.
  • Apply deep knowledge of pharmaceutical piping standards, clean utility systems, and GMP compliance throughout project lifecycle.
  • Oversee construction management activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor construction QA/QC protocols, ensuring all installations meet regulatory and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to support value management systems, vendor selection, and material acquisition.
  • Manage one direct report and participate in the recruitment and onboarding of an additional team member.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ASME BPE standards and FDA/EMA regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with clean steam, WFI, and other pharmaceutical-grade utility systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
