SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a contract Medicinal Chemist/ Principal Scientist to work remotely in the US.

The position will be a 12+ month contract, 100% remote.

Qualifications:

• Candidate should have Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry, with around 15 years of experience in early drug discovery services from hit identification through preclinical candidate (PCC)
• Must be able to support SAR/SPR strategy, compound design, cross functional integration, data-driven decision-making, and IP review
• Must have experience in Drug Design for Projects in Cardiovascular, Oncology, Immunology
• Must be strong in project management with ability to lead strategic decision making
• Experience with Schrödinger Live Design is an asset / willingness to learn and work with Live Design is of key importance.
• Remote work from any location US. Needs to be able to travel to client sites if needed
