SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for an IVD Quality Lab Technician/Operator to join our client's medical device manufacturing team in Hayward, Ca. This position is quality focused (not R&D) in the lab and will be focused on quality system activities.

*Unique opportunity to get in and hit the ground running with a new and upcoming small medical device company and be able to grow and make an impact with the team! Contract position minimum of 6 months and likely to go longer.

*W2 contract only, we cannot accept C2C at this time

*M-F 9am-5pm onsite

Must Haves:

• 1-2 years' experience with quality system activities and with IVDs in medical device manufacturing lab
• BSL2 lab experience preferred
• Has handled microorganism bacteria in biosafety hood
• Manual Pipetting Experience
• GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
• High volume lab work, comfortability on the bench
• Has good laboratory practices with manual processes (not automated), wet lab experience is a must (ideally microbiology)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Pipetting into buffers, putting them into the cartridge and getting it into the device
• Can work well in a small team; collaborative and a clear communicator
• Verification and validation in the lab
