Facilities Associate - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a Facilities Associate to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Waltham, Mass. This role will provide daily support for the Site Operations department. Perform a wide variety of office services and general lab support in the Waltham facility. This includes day-to-day facility operations and administrative services (e.g., mailroom, meeting set ups, relocation/move support, glass wash, lab support etc.). Physical demands associated with this position may include walking, lifting & carrying weighted materials (up to 50 lbs.).
*W2 contract only; we CANNOT accept visa status candidates at this time.
MUST HAVES:
- Minimum of 2 yrs exp. in a facilities role
- Lab experience
- High school diploma; Associates Degree (preferred)
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Office & Lab Support
- Meeting and conference support, having ability to set up conference rooms as to design.
- Understanding the planning of events due to size and capacity restrictions. Assist and make recommendations for furniture configurations.
- Physical room set ups and break downs, including but not limited to, furniture reconfigurations (moving tables and chairs), whiteboards / easels, catering set up, etc.
- Maintain inventory and stock of office and kitchen supplies.
- Assist with watering plants and paper shredding services.
- Supervise onsite vendors.
- Collection, washing, autoclaving of glassware and materials for laboratory areas.
