We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our client's team in Waltham, Ma.

Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite Waltham, Ma

Contract: W2 10 month contract with health benefits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; CPA and/or MST strongly preferred.
• 5 years in corporate or public accounting
• Significant experience with tax provisioning
• Must have Life Sciences experience
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740, including stock-based compensation and uncertain tax positions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual US (federal & state) and international tax provisions, including ASC 740 disclosures.
• Coordinate with external auditors for tax provision audits.
• Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and international income tax filings.
• Manage return calendar, extensions, and estimated payments.
• Support R&D credit calculations with external advisors.
• Resolve tax notices and close audits.
• Maintain tax compliance processes and documentation for SOX 404.
• Conduct tax research and monitor legislative changes.
