SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time, contract Project Engineer III to join our client's Medical Device manufacturing team in Cincinnati, OH. The Project Engineer role supports ongoing operations by providing technical leadership as it relates to manufacturing and process systems.

* W2 contract only.

MUST HAVES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience managing capital projects, preferably in the biopharma or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes, manufacturing related equipment, and facility/utility equipment and processes
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale CAPEX projects with budgets up to $5 million
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, including cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other industry standards
  • Effectively communicate progress and opportunities (i.e. roadblocks) to stakeholders
  • Manage engineering contractors to augment Lonza engineering staff

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a technical resource to operations customers to ensure that equipment and facilities are designed, operated, and maintained to meet production needs
  • Implementation of engineering projects to support manufacturing requirements
  • Responsible and accountable for resolution of all major equipment breakdowns and quality issues in the suites
  • Provide SME support to Manufacturing and other departments for the design and operation of process equipment
  • Modify/develop preventative maintenance plans and create spare parts
  • Participates in audits and inspections as engineering SME
