EHS Specialist - new job in Concord, US

Title : Project Safety Professional

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12 Months

Day to day responsibilities:

• Ensure work activities are completed in accordance with approved plans
• Manage and document safety orientations
• Ensure appropriate work permits are in place and being followed at the point of operation
• Perform general safety audits to include subcontractor morning huddles and JSA (job safety analysis) review
• Monitor Sr. 's being entered in the tool and ensure timely closing within shift
• Monitor working environments and environmental and physical hazards. Ensure corrections
• Assist in the management and investigation of any incidents or unplanned events on site
• 90% field base 10% office space
• Project Safety professionals must be OSHA 30 hr certified with at least 5 years’ experience in safety roles
