We are searching for a full-time permanent Scientist to join a global pharmaceutical team that is focused on empowering people worldwide to live healthier at every stage of life!

WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform analysis related to clinical supplies, formulation development, stability, and process scale up.
  • Design and conduct analytical methods development and validation studies to prove scientific hypotheses.
  • Develop and conduct product degradation studies and interpret results.
  • Calculate, check, and/or compile analytical data.
  • Perform technology transfers.
  • Train incoming laboratory personnel with respect to technique and job function.
  • Author and/or review protocols, technical reports, Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Test Methods, and Specifications.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Attend professional meetings and/or review literature to evaluate and remain current with new equipment and techniques.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience is required.
  • Must be competent in modern laboratory techniques and instrumentation, such as; HPLC, GC ICP-MS and/or other analytical techniques.
  • Must possess working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry requirements as listed in United States Pharmacopeia, European Pharmacopeia and The International Conference on Harmonization Guidelines.
  • Must adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures as well as government regulations. Requires understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts. Ability to present to a group of departments.
  • Must be familiar with basic concepts of calculations in Analytical Chemistry including basic statistics.
  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
