Job Title: Head of Pharmaceutical Global Transparency Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - onsite x3 days; relocation available)
The Head of Pharmaceutical Global Transparency plays a critical role in the planning and execution of Healthcare Professional (HCP) payment transparency activities and initiatives; overseeing a coordinated global effort to implement and continually improve transparency initiatives in an innovative, efficient, and cost-effective manner; and developing appropriate strategies to address on a global scale!
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:
Lead and manage a global Transfer of Value (TOV) team while acting as the owner of all Transparency processes related to Compliance and Integrity
Formulate strategic goals by applying a deep understanding of expanding global transparency regulations, business priorities, and regional needs.
Manage interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organizations regarding payment disclosure information
Oversee the operational execution of organization's disclosure activities, including:
Transparency in Grants
Payments to Healthcare Professionals in compliance with the U.S. Physician Payments Sunshine Act and the European EFPIA Disclosure Code; and
State Reporting commitments
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:
Bachelor’s degree required
A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Ten - Fifteen (10-15) years of professional experience in either: accounting, compliance, finance, and/or management information systems
Strong understanding of global payment transparency regulations
Demonstrated ability to interpret Healthcare Law, and an ability to align complex internal policies, training, and external communications
