Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - onsite x3 days; relocation available)

The Head of Pharmaceutical Global Transparency plays a critical role in the planning and execution of Healthcare Professional (HCP) payment transparency activities and initiatives; overseeing a coordinated global effort to implement and continually improve transparency initiatives in an innovative, efficient, and cost-effective manner; and developing appropriate strategies to address on a global scale!

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO IN THIS ROLE:

  • Lead and manage a global Transfer of Value (TOV) team while acting as the owner of all Transparency processes related to Compliance and Integrity
  • Formulate strategic goals by applying a deep understanding of expanding global transparency regulations, business priorities, and regional needs.
  • Manage interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and healthcare organizations regarding payment disclosure information
  • Oversee the operational execution of organization's disclosure activities, including:
    • Transparency in Grants
    • Payments to Healthcare Professionals in compliance with the U.S. Physician Payments Sunshine Act and the European EFPIA Disclosure Code; and
    • State Reporting commitments

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ten - Fifteen (10-15) years of professional experience in either: accounting, compliance, finance, and/or management information systems
  • Strong understanding of global payment transparency regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret Healthcare Law, and an ability to align complex internal policies, training, and external communications
