We are searching for a full-time permanent Construction Project Manager who is ready to part of a rare opportunity to build from the ground up and create plasma therapies that help the people who truly depend on them.
** Previous experience in Plasma, Biologics and/or Pharma is mandatory **
The successful Construction Project Manager will be a critical contributor to the build of a state-of-the-art plasma fractionation facility in Texas (DFW Area) by overseeing onsite day-to-day project management and execution of engineering and construction. WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Establish and manage project schedule and provide weekly and monthly updates
Coordinate with architecture, engineering and construction project managers to ensure the project is completed within the approved budget and timelines
Facilitate decision making and prioritization between internal stakeholders regarding conceptual design approach, design decisions, vendor selection, build strategy, commissioning, and qualification strategy
Run competitive RFP processes for the selection of external contractors and vendors
Implement project controls to ensure adherence to the approved capital budget
Monitor and manage approved contracts to ensure all parties deliver and meet their obligations in a timely manner
Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
Manage vendors to ensure timely delivery and commitment to timelines and budget
Develop and maintain documentation throughout the project life cycle (including but not limited to Project Charter, PEP, Risk Register)
WHAT YOU HAVE:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience in overseeing and managing multidisciplinary project or construction teams
2-3 years’ experience leading Capital Projects in excess of $50M
Experience implementing Project Management, Project Controls and Project Risk Evaluation tools on multidisciplinary capital projects
Proven track record in delivery of large value, complex and multi-disciplinary, CGMP (FDA and Health Canada approved) and infrastructure projects
Experience as part of a multidisciplinary team of consultants, scientists, operators and engineers in the design, construction, commissioning, qualification and operational start-up of a multi-million dollar plasma fractionation facility is ideal
