Reporting to the Supervisor, Label and Put Away, the (Contract) Associate II, Logistics will be responsible for all labelling and put away requirements for incoming materials.
As the Norwood manufacturing facility expands production capacities, including insourcing PCV, plasmid and buffers, we will have more production trains and materials to plan. This role will also be responsible for handling an increase in logistical requirements as development candidates increase in number and advance to later phases of clinical trials, including distribution to clinical testing sites and eventually external customers and patients. The anticipated time frame for this assignment is six months and is based at our Norwood location. This position will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm working Monday to Friday.
Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Label incoming materials in accordance with cGMP requirements
  • Minimal oversite to complete line clearance activities
  • Put-away labeled materials in the appropriate storage locations dictated by SAP
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Keep a clean and organized workstation
  • Capability to lift less than or equal to 50 pounds
  • Capability to shrink wrap and secure material to pallets
  • Ability to operate warehouse power equipment (forklift, power walkie, stacker, order picker, and pallet trucks)
  • Handling material ensuring compliance throughout warehouse operations.
  • Inventory Control: document all transactions/movements and perform physical inventory checks/reconciliations.
  • Other responsibilities include proper storage, label printing, cycle counting, records, security and safety.
  • Practice safe work habits and adhere to Moderna’s safety procedures and guidelines.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • BS/BA degree with 0-2 years’ experience in Warehouse Operations and Shipping
  • Experience in a highly-regulated industry, Pharmaceutical, or related field.
  • Ability to lift and move products
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Ability to work overtime when required
  • Collaborative, customer focused attitude.
