Histology Manager to join this fantastic organisation to provide direct support and management of a highly technical team.

A position has opened up for a Histology Manager to join this fantastic organisation, in short you will join this highly professional team of scientists delivering directly into scientific studies and research into Biotech and Pharmaceutical partnerships. You will bring with you a strong background in Histology as you'll be expected to develop and validate Immunohistochemistry (IHC) protocols as well as providing addition support to more routine histological stains within a cGLP laboratory.

The Ideal candidate will lead a laboratory group in terms of both managerial and technical ability, provide appropriate support and guidance to various team members. You will have experience using various Histology techniques including IHC, to validate new targets, translating from laboratory models to the clinic. You will be able to design histology studies, analysing data and preparing reports to present to clients and stake holders.

To recap, key requirements for this role are;

  • Be educated to BSc level within a Biologically related subject.
  • Hands on industrial experience with various tissues and able to confidently perform key pathology and histology techniques including IHC and digital pathology.
  • Solid understanding of working with a cGLP environment.
  • Be looking for "that next" step up
