Application Specialist - global leader offering products and services to the biopharmaceutical industry with offices based across the UK and Europe.

This is an opportunity for a talented and customer focused Application Specialist with cell culture and/or protein production expertise to act as a technical expert working with customers and colleagues.

This role requires up to 50% national and international travel and you will be based either at an office or possibly from home.

The Role

This Application Specialist role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Provide technical expertise, knowledge and support to customers and the sales team.
  • Support the sales team by delivering customer presentations specialist events.
  • Support technical queries and perform product trials, recommending modifications and optimisation options.
  • Support clients with data interpretation and product selection.
  • Deliver technical presentations at conferences.

Your Skills

As a Application Specialist our client requires the following skills and experience:

  • Degree in life sciences or a similar discipline, a Masters or PhD is desirable.
  • Experience in life science industry with a strong focus on cell culture and/or protein production processes.
  • Experience of being working directly with customers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • You must be pro active, driven and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
