Title: Microbiology Technical Expert

Location: North West

Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits

SRG have an exciting opportunity as a Microbiological Expert, to support with the "insourcing" of all methods, leading on to supporting with the growth of a new microbiological laboratory.

An expanding contract pharmaceutical company working with customers all over the world to develop new pharmaceutical products. They are an entrepreneurial company and encourage their employees to help shape the future of the company. They are well known for doing what they do, and they do it damn good!

The role;

As a microbiological technical expert you will be working with outsourcing companies, looking to bring all the methods in house. You'll be writing, developing and validating all the microbiological methods including LAL, Endotoxin and Bioburden testing. You will work methodically and proactively to ensure that all methods meet vital GMP/ICH guidelines.

Key Requirements;

• Be educated to BSc, or equivalent, within a relevant subject.
• Hands on experience within a microbiology position, with experience in developing and validating microbiology protocols and assays.
• Industrial experience with microbiological assays including, but not limited to; LAL, Bioburden, Endotoxin and Environmental monitoring.
• Worked within a GMP/ICH regulated laboratory.
