Experienced Project Manger wanted for an exciting IVD company developing next generation medical testing technology.

Here at SRG, we partner with an in vitro diagnostics company developing innovative, accurate, and accessible testing products. They have identified the need for a Senior Project Manager to come and join the company based in London.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for project creation, execution and management for quality assurance and regulatory affairs, validation and verification, risk management and more. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Project management tasks such as project plans, timeline creation, keeping projects on task and on plan
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Develop and execute Risk Management activities including preparation of the risk management file
  • Co-ordinate and input into the design verification and validation activities
  • Work with QA/RA to complete Medical Device Technical Documentation in line with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Lead in the data analysis and data interpretation
  • Work with suppliers to obtain required technical documentation and certification where applicable
  • Lead in the resolution of manufacturing issues and technical problem solving
  • The provision of expert technical support for the manufacturing team
  • Contribute to process improvements to drive manufacturing efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute to the development of alternative or novel methods to update pre-existing QC and manufacturing processes
  • Participation in project and team meetings including presentation of progress reports on assigned projects
  • Explore and advise on new manufacturing methods and raw material options

As the ideal candidate, you will have at least 3 years of experience of project management in the IVD setting, medical device and pharma still considered, on top of a bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related discipline. You will have experience working within a laboratory or manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of ISO13485:2016, ISO14971, FDA QSR, MHRA and GMP/GLP/GCP standards. Knowledge of ISO 62304, 62366, 60601, immunoassays and IVD manufacturing is advantageous.
