Synergy are looking for an experienced Stability Analyst working for a multinational consumer goods company based in Hull.

The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic and high performing team providing stability analysis services across a portfolio of health and wellbeing products and projects.

Role Description:

  • The role will focus on the generation, analysis, and reporting of stability data in line with GMP/GLP standards, using analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, and a variety of other instrumental and wet chemistry techniques.
  • Through the role you will also be involved in method development, validation and transfer and QC/QA processes such as deviations, lab investigations, CAPA and audit support.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Order samples for stability storage
  • Produce protocols for stability trials
  • Set up and label samples in accordance with SOPs
  • Perform sample assays on HPLCs and other instrumentation
  • Analysis and trending of results
  • Identify any out of specification / out of trend / unexpected results and to notify these to your line manager within an acceptable timeframe
  • Pro-actively identify issues and appropriate actions to address those issues
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety systems and legislation applicable to your working environment
  • Execute tasks according to regulatory, statutory, or client defined standards / requirements applicable to the service
  • Comply with all appropriate Synergy and Client defined Quality Management Systems, processes, and procedures, including the timely capture, and recording of laboratory data
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the wider team with respect to compliance, H&S, and audit readiness
  • Meet / exceed the defined project KPI's & individual objectives
  • Actively participate in Synergy training and performance review processes
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, always ensuring that you act in a professional manner whilst performing your duties or whilst you are representing Synergy any capacity
  • Other duties as reasonably requested by the Synergy Team Leader

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Some previous experience is required, ideally in HPLC / GC
  • Degree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Pharmaceutical or Biological Science, or equivalent professional experience
  • Previous hands-on experience of analytical test methods such as HPLC within a Healthcare / FMCG / Medical Device environment

Desirable:

  • Results orientated, self-motivated with an ability to evaluate and take risks
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality and delivery
  • Strong intellectual curiosity ability to think out of the box
