The Company

A global coatings manufacturer are looking for a Formulation Scientist to join their R&D team to formulate and develop new and existing products.

The Job

As a Formulation Scientist you would work within a fast-paced laboratory environment on a range of duties;

• Formulate and develop new and existing products
• Ensure new processes are optimised to be as efficient as possible
• Scale up processes from the lab into manufacture
• Identify new market trends and translate these into new innovations
• Work according to Lean Six Sigma etc.
• Analyse experimental results and make appropriate decisions
• Communicate with stakeholders

Your Experience

The successful applicant will have a minimum of a BSc in Chemistry or another relevant scientific subject in addition to:

• Knowledge of the science behind polymers/plastics
• Understanding of developing products
• Experience with developing polymers, plastics, coatings or similar products would be a huge advantage
