The Company

An innovative company within the life sciences sector are looking for a Fermentation Scientist to join their busy team to work on fermentation using bioreactors. The company work on a variety of exciting projects to support the pharma and biopharmaceuticals sector.

The Job

As a Fermentation Scientist you will work on a range of duties within a fast-paced laboratory environment

• Work with bioreactors to ferment bacteria, yeast and funghi
• Carry out fermentation using batch culture, fed batch culture and continuous culture
• The role will occasionally involve mammalian cell culture
• Communicate with clients, updating them on projects and their results

Your Experience

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience;

• Either a PhD focused on fermentation, particularly using bioreactors
• OR industrial experience with fermentation/cell culture using a bioreactor
• GMP experience would be advantageous
