Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager - new job in Oxfordshire, UK

Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager - Oxfordshire - Contract - £600/pd (umbrella)

SRG are currently looking for a skilled Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager with experience working in regulated manufacturing industry (chemical, automotive, oil and gas, pharma etc) to join a successful chemicals company based in Oxfordshire.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage capital projects through front end design (FEED), procurement, installation and commissioning of site infrastructure and process equipment
• Manage key aspects: budget, schedule, scope and risk
• Participate in design reviews, creation of documentation and management of data
• Support trouble-shooting during installation and start-up
• Manage installation of equipment on site.

Criteria:

• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Proven experience of delivery of capital projects
• Experience working in a manufacturing industry
• Familiar with Hazard Studies and Risk Assessments.
