Corporate Affairs Associate Duration - 6 Months Location - Walton Oaks, Surrey Salary - Flexible Hourly Rate

Role Summary This role is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of processes requiring compliance review in the U.K. This role will be responsible to work with UK Corporate Affairs and Global Public Affairs teams. Role Responsibilities * Manage the review and approval process of global materials that are going through UK compliance review. This involves: o Being the UK sponsor of the global materials on GCMA, where in scope of the Code o Working with a global colleague's agency to ensure the correct upload of materials to GCMA in accordance with internal policy o Managing the GCMA review and approval process including liaising with the relevant members of the UK review team, compliance colleagues, global colleagues, and global agencies to ensure smooth and timely review * Manage the external process around Corporate Affairs initiated transfers of value to UK Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) from start to finish, including obtaining all compliance, legal and medical approvals. This involves: o Understanding the UK policy and ensuring the appropriate due diligence has been undertaken to ensure any charitable donation is made in accordance with policy and Code. o If a global CA led donation, the individual should work with project managers, global Funding Review Committee, and UK Compliance/Compass/Legal to develop a contract for the donation and put through formal GCMA review. * Support above-market policy and public affairs teams in obtaining approvals for activities covered under Customer Engagement and HCP contracting. * Provide ad-hoc funding transactions and compliance support to other above-market teams in Corporate Affairs * Establish and administer a contact management database of UK PAGs to support UK Patient Advocacy activities. * As part of this, maintain oversight of UK PAG donation funding threshold, as identified in the MAPP country profile. * Signpost UK Corporate Affairs colleagues to the appropriate Code/Compliance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) when support and advice is required. Basic Qualifications * Knowledge or Ariba, GCMA and related processes (MAPP, Aravo, CEP) * Strong communication skills and initiative; excellent organizational skills * The ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects. * The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, and navigate a matrixed organizations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
