Logistics Manager - Medical DeviceSRG are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager to join a rapidly growing medical device company in the Warwickshire area. They are looking for someone to join them on a permanent basis on a competitive salary.You will collaborate with a broad group of internal and external partners, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance and trading partners to insure best in class distribution and transportation performance in the UK.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):* Manage all logistics activities required for timely and efficient distribution and transportation of Quanta products in UK. * Direct and manage the ongoing activities of internal and 3PL distribution operations which include Inbound shipping, product receipt, storage, outbound shipping, reverse logistics and coordinating with third party and internal IT resources to maintain data and inventory integrity across multiple systems and sites.* Implement and drive continuous improvement within the Quanta Logistics operations by leveraging "best in industry" practices.* Report monthly key performance indicators (KPI). Accountable for implementing appropriate corrective actions when KPIs fall below targets.* Track non-conformances. Uses proven problem-solving methodology to identify root causes of failures as well as permanent corrective actions.Education and Work Experience:* Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience required.* 5+ years of experience in logistics / supply chain management. * MedTech experience, essential.To find out more, please apply or email Jessica.oconnor@srgtalent.com
