Senior Research Engineer - Biocompatibility - Medical Technology - Fully remote

SRG are partnering with a global medical technology company specialising in the manufacture of wound care products. This role is working within the New Product Development team, supporting the delivery of medical devices and procedures to biocompatibility. Offering a fully hybrid approach with required occasional travel onsite.

Responsibilities:

* Primarily working on project delivery of projects by producing biological evaluation plans, reviewing data, materials and producing toxicological risk assessments.

* Biocompatibility support for ongoing projects and current products. This includes material evaluation and changes, updating reports and producing risk assessments for quality functions.

* Makes recommendations internally on updates to current methods and working practices.

* Mentor and train junior colleagues

My client is looking for an autonomous individual with over 4 years of experience in Biocompatibility. Expertise in matters relating to Biocompatibility is essential, as this is the roles primary work function. Sort after industries include chemistry (chemical characterisation), toxicology, biomedical or Biomaterials engineering, Bioengineering, or tissue engineering.
