Title: Nanotherapeutic Principal Scientist

SRG are currently working with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical CRO that provides clinical pharmacology services and technical consultancy to the pharma and biotech industries. They are currently looking to hire nanotherapeutic experts to support their Nano Drug Delivery team's growth. At the Principal Scientist level, you will be keeping up to date with the latest technical advances, supporting the growth of the business by providing technical consultancy and advice to clients, as well as supporting internal staff technically.

The ideal candidate will have considerable experience working with nanotherapeutics, preferably within pharma. You will have a good understanding of drug discovery, as well as a strong technical background with nanotechnology (Colloids, encapsulations, characterisation).

Your Responsibilities;

• Bring nanotherapeutic expertise to guide the development of nanotherapeutic drug delivery systems.

• Understand and articulate global regulatory requirements for a CMC submission and design the product strategy accordingly.

• Deliver product and technology solutions for client's products

• Act as a key point of contact for the company's global client base.

• Provide direction, oversight and coaching of other members of staff

Requirements;

• Educated to PhD and greater than 5 years' experience in the nanotherapeutic space or bachelor's degree and greater than 10 years' experience in the nanotherapeutic space. Preferably within industry.

• Significant technical expertise in Nanotherapeutic Drug Delivery Systems, as well as compelling evidence of highly complex technical problem solving.

• Understanding the mechanisms of drug delivery systems (ideally with vaccines), understand the mechanisms of the encapsulation process, scattering, TEM and utilising polymeric nanoparticles.
