Their goal is to use their ground-breaking science to improve lives around the world in the face of growing threats that insects pose to human health and global food supply. They are seeking a highly motivated Production Technician to join a dynamic project team dedicated to the research and development of their self-limiting technology in insect species that damage crops. This will be a short-term temporary position, perfect for candidates looking to get some hands-on laboratory experience.Key responsibilities of the Production Technician will include:- Maintaining insect colonies.- Carefully and accurately recording data and documenting activities and processes.- Assisting with experiments according to specific protocols. - Support the smooth running of the laboratory; cleaning and organising work areas, washing and preparing equipment. - Providing clear communication to the team lead regarding outcome of processes and experiments.- Supporting the team's compliance to established procedures, regulations, and health and safety.
