Job Title: Analytical Scientist (APIs)

Location: North West

Employment Term: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

SRG is working with a fast growing, global contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) that is responsible for developing and manufacturing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs). They are looking to expand their Bioanalytical team by taking on a Bioassay Scientist who will be responsible to running a range of analytical techniques to test the quality of a range of biological pharmaceutical products (Therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies and Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs).

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant biological or chemical field, experience in working a bio-analytical testing laboratory, and hands on experience with a range of analytical techniques including HPLC (SEC, HIC, PLRP, CEX), FTIR, UV-Vis, and SDS CE.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the development and qualification of HPLC, UV and capillary electrophoresis-based assays for antibodies and antibody drug conjugates (ADCs).
• Performing and reporting analytical testing on all raw materials, intermediates, finished products and stability samples in HPLC, UV and capillary electrophoretic methods.
• Performing analytical testing, using a variety of techniques

Key Requirements:

• BSc or equivalent qualification in a relevant biological or Chemistry subject area.
• Previous experience in a Bio-analytical testing laboratory.
• Technical experience with HPLC or capillary electrophoresis (Essential).
• HIGHLY DESIRED - Technical experience with immunoassays, UV-Vis and FTIR
