SENIOR PROCESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER WITHING CHEMICAL INDUSTRY IS REQUIRED!!
I am recruiting on behalf of my Global Chemical manufacturer for a Chartered Chemical Engineer with at least 10 years' experience who has a proven record of design and scale up of pilot equipment and/or complex manufacturing plants.
You will independently lead process development activities to manufacture fluorinated compounds, including the execution of research and development studies, setting up and running of pilot
facilities, execution or facilitation of engineering design, assessment of project risks and communication of relevant information and recommendations to senior managers to enable
business decisions to be made. Technical leadership and ability to operate independently are key attributes
Education:
BEng in Chemical Engineering and/or Meng or PhD in Chemical Engineering
Knowledge:
Minimum Process scale up
Batch and continuous unit operations
Separations design
Reaction Engineering
Physical property measurements
Thermodynamics expertise
Desirable:
Specific knowledge of fluorochemistry
Lab pilot scale operations
CFD modelling experience
Matlab and Python programming
Distillation design
Process safety management including HAZOP, SIL, LOPA
