Medical Ethics Lead - new job in London, UK

Medical Ethics Lead (Final Signatory)Location: Central London

SRG are supporting a leading Global Pharmaceutical Company who have a Medical Ethics Lead role available currently. This position requires someone with ABPI Final Signatory status. This is a 6-month contract based in their London offices and will be a pivotal role, working cross-functionally with teams in their Oncology franchise to ensure Code compliance throughout, enabling advancements to be made in clinical practice.

Main Responsibilities include:

• Providing guidance and participating in driving and shaping innovative approach to compliance and adhering to ABPI code of Practice
• Partnering with cross functional teams to promote best practice by sharing successes and by helping to identify/resolve issues efficiently
• Collaborating with internal teams to establish best practice for working with existing/upcoming alliance partners
• Leading update and training of all impacted personnel when ABPI Code changes are required
• Engaging with the wider business to ensure company-wide approach to medical ethics and compliance
• Leading and mentoring the Medical Ethics Team

Skills/experience required:

• GMC Registered Physician or GPhC Registered Pharmacist
• Must be a current ABPI Final Signatory
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Proven track record of people and performance management
• Experience within Oncology will be an advantage
• Deep understanding of the UK Pharma market
