Graduate Analytical Chemist
We're currently recruiting for an Analytical Chemist to join a Chemical company based in Northamptonshire. This is a permanent role, starting ASAP, paying £23,000 with on-going salary increases
Role:
- Analysing materials using GC-MS/FID and ICP-OES
- Comply with all relevant HSE, Quality, Regulatory and Accreditation standards
- Extracting and clean-up of samples
- Performing daily checks including balances, pipettes and instruments
- Cleaning, reagent and sample preparation
- Individual projects will be performed often be in new fields
- Sampling of incoming material for compliance
The Person:
- Degree (or equivalent) in- chemistry/forensic or related
- Happy in hands on testing role and a problem solver
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
