Our Cambridge based client is a clinical research organisation that focuses on the use of T Cell therapeutics to support the field of Immuno-Oncology. Having developed a novel therapeutic platform to overcome common challenges within research, they have created an impressive pipeline of both in-house and sponsored projects. To support their ongoing success and growth, they are looking to expand their research teams across a number of specialist areas, one of which is their molecular biology team
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to antibody discovery by selecting, isolating, and characterising lead single antibodies and against therapeutic targets
Help build immunised antibody libraries for use with phage and yeast display platforms
Contribute to the development and optimisation of in vitro platforms
Characterise antibodies using a range of techniques such as Octet/Biacore, ELISA, cell-based assays and flow cytometry
Ideal Candidate:
BSc or equivalent in a life sciences discipline
Experience in the isolation of antibodies using in vitro display technology
Experience with phage or yeast display
Be comfortable with molecular biology such as RNA extraction, PCR, cloning and sequence analysis
Experience with characterising the kinetics or antibody interactions or ELISA
Experience with cell culture, cell-based assay and flow cytometry would be advantageous but not necessary
