Job Title: Senior QC Analyst

Contract: 6 months + (possibility of extensions / become permanent)

Location: Skipton

Salary: £28,500 - £31,500 + project bonus

Shift: 2-10pm (weekdays)

Job Purpose

• Develop QC procedures and independently perform analytical testing using methods such as TLC, HPLC, FTIR, UV
• Review data generated from testing and make relevant recommendations
• Maintain high standards of H&S and adherence to GMP in all aspects of laboratory operations
• Deputise for the Team Leader to maintain service levels and act as a point of customer contact

Requirements

• Degree /diploma in a relevant scientific discipline
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical GMP environment
• Advanced knowledge of instrumental, chemical and physical analysis techniques: HPLC and or GC; UV-VIS; FTIR; DLS; (auto) titration; Karl Fischer; TOC; density; melting point; viscosity; pH, etc
• Advanced user of laboratory equipment, with experience in maintenance, calibration, and requalification
• Experience of working with Safety Management systems
