Our Cambridge based client is a clinical research organisation that focuses on the use of T Cell therapeutics to support the field of Immuno-Oncology. Having developed a novel therapeutic platform to overcome common challenges within research, they have created an impressive pipeline of both in-house and sponsored projects. To support their ongoing success and growth, they are looking to expand their research teams across a number of specialist areas, one of which is their translational biology team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in development and optimisation of bioanalytical methods for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic assessments for internal use or transfer to external partners
Assist in assay development and optimisation around anti-drug antibody quantitation and characterisation for internal use or transfer to external partners
Carry out in-house bioanalytical sample analysis on pre-clinical and clinical samples
Biochemical determination of molecular properties relating to drugs and drug targets
Human samples tracking including LIMS inventory to ensure human materials ethics and tissue storage compliance
For the scientist position: Develop in house organoids methodologies and optimise and deploy cell-based assays such as flow cytometry and immunoassays to investigate target engagement
Ideal Candidate:
Masters in a relevant field or equivalent and industrial or clinical laboratory experience highly desirable
Experience working in a regulated lab environment (GLP/GCP/GMP) is highly desirable
Practical experience in one or more of the following: immunoassay, cell culture, flow cytometry
Proven ability to interact collaboratively within a team
Ability to synthesise data and communicate high-level findings to senior stakeholders
Experience developing or validating bioanalytical methods is desirable
Theoretical and practical knowledge of cell/molecular biology is desirable
Experience using or managing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is desirable
